Never Again!

This is a list of companies (and one individual), that I have promised myself never to do business with ever again. Read for yourself, and decide whether you want to take the risk.

Anibal Damiao
This guy is a serial scammer. He cheats customers, contractors, employees, suppliers, and anyone else he can get around with.

The story is long, so it has its own page here: "Anibal Damiao - 100 % fraud?"

Europcar (and Keddy)
Ok, I guess I am an idiot for using Europcar, as if I had searched for "Europcar reviews" with google, there is an astonishing amount of 1-star reviews - on multiple sites. It is actually quite impressive to look THIS bad!

xxx.

But how Europcar seems to be doing business my feeling is that they are very close to go bankrupt and shut down. They had a net loss of 139 million EUR in 2023, so that seems like a good start.

Holiday Inn

Orlando Car Rental
You need to read *VERY* carefully to realize that they do not have an office at the airport, but you instead need to spend an hour to take their shuttle bus to an office in the middle of no-where to pick up and return your car. And of course the guy who is supposed to pick you up isn't there and still claims that he was waiting for you, even though flight information was provided.

Ironically other local car rental companies have in-terminal pick up, and still cost the same - or even less. GoldCar seems to be a good choice.

Tryg, ScalePoint (and most other Danish insurance companies)
This is the astonishing discovery about how the Danish insurance industry uses mafia tactics to avoid paying full coverage, and instead let Danish shops pay up to 35% of the compensation (or cheat their customers for an equal amount of their rightful compensation).

Oddly the Danish news mostly have not covered this (probably because they are afraid of loosing advertising money), so now I will do it here.

The story is long, so it has its own page here: Coming soon!
