The Route
On the map below (click on it to get a better view) each circle indicates where I stayed for one or more nights (usually campgrounds, but sometimes at a motel). The route was basically this:

It may seem a bit silly to go all the way across the country, but the thing is, that most of the interesting national parks are located west of the Rocky Mountains, and I couldn't really change that...
