Introduction
Hi! I’m Michael Thomsen, a student at the Technical University of Denmark. My field is a combination of electronics and computerteory. In the spring of 2001 I was studying at Florida Atlantic University, more commenly known as FAU. It’s located in Boca Raton, about 50 miles north of Miami. I was enrolled as an international exchange student, due to an exchange program between my university and FAU. This implies that I don’t pay the tuision fees, which in my case mounts up to a little more than $5000.

FAUs logo is an owl. It has nothing to do with Hogwarts, though.
(Not as far as I know, anyway).

Technical University of Denmark
The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is the largest university teaching engineering in Denmark. All branches are covered: Chemistry, Civil, Environmental, Electrical, Computational, Mechanical etc. The university was build in the 60'es when it moved from Copenhagen to Lyngby, about 10 miles north of Copenhagen. There's currently about 6000 students at DTU.

You can read some very interestering descriptions of Denmark, and DTU by some former guest students at the DTU website.
